  1. Server Log Files

Every visit to the pages of this web presence is recorded and stored in so-called server log files. This data is used exclusively for the technical analysis of server usage.

The following data is specifically collected:

  • Requesting host address (IP address)
  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • HTTP status code
  • Volume of data transferred
  • Website from which you visited us (referrer URL)
  • Browser / operating system / interface
  • Information about the server service used
  • Protocol version

This data is stored in the log files of our system. This data is not merged with personal information of any specific user, which means that identification of individual site visitors is excluded.

Other personal data is only collected if you provide it voluntarily, for example as part of a contact request initiated by you personally.

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of log files is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the achievement of the purpose described below.

Purpose of data processing

The temporary (automated) storage of the IP address by the system is necessary in order to deliver the website to the user’s device. For this purpose, the user’s IP address is stored for the duration of the session.

The storage and processing of personal data in log files takes place in order to optimize the content of our website and the advertising for it, to ensure the permanent functionality of the IT systems and technology we use, and to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyberattack. This anonymously collected data and information is therefore evaluated by us statistically and with the aim of increasing data protection and data security within our company, in order to ultimately ensure the best possible level of protection for the personal data we process.

Duration of storage

In the case of data collected to provide the website, the data is deleted when the respective user session has ended and the browser is closed. In the case of data stored in log files, the log files are deleted no later than seven days after recording. Storage beyond this period is possible in individual cases, e.g. in the event of an attack on our IT systems.

  1. Request for a Free Demo Device

If you request a free demo device via the contact form, your details from the request form, including the contact information you provide, will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

  1. Enquiries by Email or Telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, your enquiry, together with all associated personal data such as name and request, will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your concern. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

NSP3CT.PRO GmbH, as the data controller, has implemented various technical and organisational measures to ensure the most comprehensive possible protection of personal data processed via this website. Please note, however, that unencrypted communication by email cannot guarantee complete data security during transmission to our IT systems. For this reason, we recommend encrypted communication or postal correspondence for information requiring a high degree of confidentiality.

Automatic Email Archiving

We expressly draw your attention to the fact that our mail system uses an automated archiving procedure. As a result, all incoming and outgoing emails are archived digitally in a tamper-proof manner.

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. The legal obligation consists of compliance with tax and commercial law requirements.

In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where this has been requested.

Purpose of data processing

The purpose of archiving is to comply with tax law requirements, cf. §§ 146, 147 AO (obligation to retain emails of tax relevance), and commercial law requirements, cf. §§ 238, 257 HGB (obligation to archive business correspondence).

Duration of storage

Our email communication is stored until the expiry of statutory tax and commercial retention obligations. The retention period may be up to 10 years.

  1. Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, dwell time, operating systems used and the origin of the user. This data is summarised in a user ID and assigned to the respective end device of the website visitor.

Furthermore, Google Analytics allows us to record, among other things, your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Google Analytics also uses various modelling approaches to supplement the collected data sets and employs machine learning technologies in data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

IP Anonymisation

Google Analytics IP anonymisation is activated. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services associated with website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

This site uses the mapping service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This service enables us to embed map content on our website.

In order to use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The provider of this site has no influence over this data transfer. When Google Maps is activated, Google may use Google Fonts for the purpose of uniform display of typefaces. Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

reCAPTCHA is used to verify whether data entry on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the site. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the site, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

The storage and analysis of data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings against abusive automated spying and against spam. Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG.
